HELP US BUILD A HISTORY OF STUDIO CITY!

The SCNC Cultural Affairs Committee is organizing neighborhood walkabouts throughout Studio City, and we want to include your neighborhood.

We are looking for:

  • People to represent your neighborhood, be it you or anyone you know that may have an interest.
  • Information on any parts of Studio City (neighborhoods, businesses, schools, people that had an impact on Studio City or was influential in "LA", etc. .)
History is around every corner...please share your stories and photos with us (you'll get the photos back for we will just scan them).

For more information or to join us on a scheduled walkabout, please contact the Cultural Affairs committee at culturalaffairs@scnc.info.

HOA & BEYOND: WHAT TO PREPARE FOR

Moving to Studio City? If you’re located in central LA or the San Fernando Valley, you not only have to find a reliable Beverly Hills mover like Pure Movers, but you have to prepare for unexpected expenses as well.

HOA fees and rules are important to consider. You may be drawn to your new condo’s amenities, but swimming pools, fitness centers and parking lots can ultimately increase your annual spend on housing, as can renovations and routine repairs.

Learn more about what you're getting in to when moving to a new house or condo by studying California HOA laws.

The Department of City Planning invites you to attend workshops to discuss the proposed Studio City Residential Floor Area (RFA) District. On March 18th and March 22nd, the Department will hold two public workshops to provide you with more information about the proposal and to seek your input. You have been emailed this notice because you own property or reside within the proposed Studio City RFA District Area or have indicated an interest in this proposal.

Please join us at either of the workshops and share this invitation with your friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you and getting your feedback.
